This Series 72 card is a new card not listed in the series in the second edition of Mike Smith’s The W.G. MacFarlane Picture Postcard Handbook 1902–1910. The card pulls down to reveal of series of smaller images.


This “Multiple View Card” is by the Photochrom Co. Ltd. of London, and is patented by White’s. The series comes in different printings, one where MacFarlane is noted as agent for Canada, the other where the card is published by W.G. MacFarlane.




The card comes in two variations, above, with a green cover and below, with brown cover,

each of which have other differences in scrollwork and it printing on the reverse.




The card below was postally used August 1, 1906 cancelled with a WPG & Moose Jaw RPO, No. 5, eastbound, sent to Whitewood, Saskatchewan. As noted in the unused card at top, it requires, and in this case bears, a 2¢ KEVII stamp.
